Some love stories are straight out of a storybook—this one was straight out of a cartoon sketchpad. Hosted at the charming SAIT Heritage Hall and planned to perfection by CBass Events, this wedding was a vibrant celebration of creativity, connection, and character (literally!).
The couple, who originally met as illustrators on a well-known animated series, wanted their day to reflect not only their love story, but their shared passion for character design. When the planner mentioned they were envisioning a wedding inspired by the world they helped create, we knew exactly how to bring that vision to life.
Cosmo set up two interactive photo activations for the celebration:
- AI Cartoon Character Portraits – Using our facial recognition technology, we photographed each guest and gave them instant access to their own private gallery. From there, we transformed their portraits into animated-style characters, and printed them on-site as custom keepsakes to take home.
- Digital Selfie Booth with Animated Backgrounds – We also included a drop-off booth with themed digital backgrounds, allowing guests to snap selfies and GIFs with cartoon-style backdrops. The photos were delivered instantly for sharing and download, adding another layer of fun to the evening.
From start to finish, guests were amazed at how quickly they could access and enjoy their photos—whether as playful animations or lively digital mementos. The photo experiences sparked laughter, nostalgia, and tons of conversations as people saw themselves reimagined in such a unique way.
The relaxed setting of SAIT’s Heritage Hall, paired with the couple’s creative history, made this activation truly special. It wasn’t just a wedding—it was an immersive experience where everyone became part of the story.
