Veriforce Stampede Mosaic Experience

Veriforce brought together employees and clients for a Stampede celebration in Calgary. They wanted more than entertainment; they wanted an experience everyone could take part in while creating a lasting reminder of the event long after the last cowboy hat was packed away.

The Objective

Create an experience that encouraged guests to interact, move around the event, and contribute to something bigger than a single photo. Rather than taking a picture and walking away, every guest became part of a larger story. By the end of the event, hundreds of individual moments came together to reveal one custom piece of artwork featuring the Veriforce brand.

Designing the Experience

As guests arrived, our team walked throughout the venue inviting everyone to participate.

Each guest stepped into the photo booth for a quick portrait. Within seconds, their image was printed as one of 540 individual mosaic tiles.

Instead of simply handing over a print, guests were invited to find their assigned location on the 3′ x 5′ mosaic wall and place their own tile. Throughout the afternoon, they watched the artwork slowly come to life as more and more photos were added.

To help reveal the image early in the event, we pre-filled approximately 50 tiles using custom imagery inspired by Calgary, the prairies and the Calgary Stampede, seamlessly blending them into the finished design.

By the end of the four-hour event, hundreds of individual portraits had transformed into a single custom artwork featuring the Veriforce logo.

The Results

The mosaic quickly became a destination throughout the event.

Guests regularly returned to see how much the image had grown, bringing coworkers and clients back to show them their contribution. As the final pieces were added, a crowd gathered around the completed artwork, with many guests stopping to take photos and videos of the finished mosaic.

Watching hundreds of individual moments come together into one piece of artwork created an experience guests kept coming back to throughout the event. The finished mosaic became more than event décor; it became a keepsake that now lives in the Veriforce Calgary office
