Overview Last weekend, we supported two sponsor activations at the Alberta Dental Conference at the Fairmont Banff Springs, delivering two distinct photo experiences across separate mixer events. Each activation was designed around the sponsor’s goals and the tone of the evening. One leaned into a themed, high-impact AI experience, while the other focused on a clean, branded setup that fit seamlessly into the environment.

123Dentist | AI Watercolour Portraits

For the Olympic-themed mixer, we created a custom AI watercolour portrait experience.

Guests were transformed into stylized Olympic-inspired portraits within seconds. Each image featured a branded overlay, tying the experience directly back to 123Dentist.

Photos were delivered digitally and printed on-site within minutes, supported by a sharing station to keep the flow consistent.


RBC | Selfie Booth Experience

For the second mixer, RBC opted for a more streamlined setup with a strong visual presence.

The activation featured:

  • A custom branded overlay
  • A scenic backdrop with a gondola setting
  • A simple, easy-to-use selfie booth format

This setup made it easy for guests to step in, take a photo or GIF, and continue enjoying the event without friction.

Both activations maintained steady usage throughout their respective events and extended engagement beyond the room through digital sharing.


Engagement

The contrast between the two experiences worked well across the weekend.

The AI watercolour portraits created curiosity and drew people in, while the selfie booth provided a quick, familiar option that kept participation high.

Together, they showed how different formats can work depending on the audience and the tone of the event.


Branding

Both sponsors were integrated directly into the experience through branded overlays and visual elements.

For 123Dentist, the branding was tied to a unique, themed output that guests wanted to share.

For RBC, the branding was consistent and visible within a clean, approachable setup that encouraged repeat use.
